In regard to this lock - a picture will always help. Failing that do you know what make it is?

Welcome aboard!!!

Don't bin it, but don't let it hold you up either. If it really gets to you, put it in a drawer and come back to it after picking some others. Post us a pic of it (from the keyway) and the key if you have one, let us know what sorts of picks you have, and we may be able to help you with your nemesis.

:s_hi: and welc .

Great to have you here :72: :08: .

As for the lock (pictures do help), if you are having trouble with a lock I find putting on the kettle helps.
Put the lock down have a brew and rest your fingers.

Then when you feel refreshed pick it up again (might be a day or two rest).

This is not a race and everyone will progress at thier own pace.

The important thing is to enjoy it .

Good luck and :welc:

Hey mate. Yeah, as everyone else has said, don't give up on the thing. This board is almost exclusively visual so work out how to post a pic of that lock and you'll get a shitload of help almost immediately. If you're on a pc, then hit the "Full editor and Preview" button below which will give you a whole lot of options, one of which is an "Attachments" tab. That's where you upload pics.

Best wishes,
